Possessing a clear understanding of the procurement regulations (FAR, DFAR, ITAR), Heather McSparron is a highly motivated individual who holds a great expertise in the government procurements as a buyer. She possesses excellent internal/external customer relations and the communication skills. These include effective negotiation, planning, multi-tasking and organizational skills. She is quite aware of how the things can change in the marketplace, with new products coming in the market.

Pertaining to her professional career as a buyer, Heather McSparron has been serving in DynCorp International since 2012. Working as a buyer at DynCorp International at Melbourne from 2012-2015, Heather prepared and solicited the quotes to the selected brokers. She also provided OEM or FAA approved repair facilities for aircraft and non-aircraft new and repair parts. While working in Kabul, she prepared and solicited the quotes to the local suppliers for the materials and services. She reviewed the items for orders and for the possibility of procuring more locally. She worked as a Buyer in Baghdad from 2017 till June 2018 where she continued her duties as the previous ones.

Apart from being a buyer, Heather McSparron has been a drug demand reduction administrator who is always focused on drug abuse education, prevention and awareness. Overall, she held a good understanding of contemporary issues in the field of drug demand reduction. Heather possessed a thorough knowledge on advances in drug prevention methodologies as well as for the treatment of drug dependence. Heather was quite familiar with the wing level planning and execution of drug demand reduction program and always ensured that this program promoted Civil Air Patrol as a positive community service lifestyle.

Regarding her education credentials, Heather McSparron is currently studying at Purdue University Global where she is pursuing Bachelors in Business Management. She also attended Everest University for 2 years while working and transferred the credits to Purdue. Thereafter, she started her online courses in Iraq.

During her leisure time, Heather loves to do anything outdoor that includes fishing, camping, decorating house, painting and yard work. Currently, she lives in Florida, but she is planning to move back west for a daily mountain view. Besides, she is quite fond of crocheting and creating databases for work to streamline processes.
