WHAT: The 8th annual PEHS Health Fair
WHERE: Memorial Hall gym
WHEN: April 13th and 14th from 8:00 AM to 3:30 PM
WHY: Two main reasons: #1 Because your health is super important and #2 Because you'll get gym credit

Join us for the 8th annual health fair presented by Loyola University Chicago School of Nursing and PEHS. The theme this year is "Hit a Home Run for Health", so there will be lots of fun baseball theme interactive activities and prizes to help you learn how to stay healthy. You will get the opportunity to sample healthy food AND learn how to eat right to feel good AND to learn about careers in health care... AND more!

*There will be many booths staffed by Loyola students, SBHC staff and community agencies including:
  • Risks of Substance Abuse
  • All Kids Insurance Info
  • Gun & Violence Prevention
  • Tobacco Hazards
  • Marijuana Use and Abuse
  • Skin Infections
  • Dangers of Drunk Driving
  • HIV Prevention
  • Sexually Transmitted Infections
  • Cancer Vaccine
  • Breast or Testicular Self Exam
  • Oral Health
  • Contraceptive Choices
  • Positive Life Skills
  • Mental Health Jeopardy
  • Healthy Relationships
  • Health Careers
  • Importance of Breakfast
  • Teacher Appreciation
  • DDR Lets Get Moving

For gym credit, make sure to get your card punched as you stop at each booth. At the end of the day, turn your card into your gym teacher.
