Hyundeuk Cheon, a philosopher of science . 

Hyundeuk Cheon is an Associate Professor in the Department of Science Studies (affiliated. Department of Philosophy) at Seoul National University. He is currently the director of AI ELSI center of Artificial Intelligence Institute, SNU. Before coming to Seoul National U., I worked as an assistant professor in the Ewha Institute for the Humanities at Ewha Womans University. I was a visiting fellow at the University of Pittsburgh, and a research fellow in the Institute for Cognitive Science at Seoul National University.

My main research interest lies in the philosophy of science and technology and philosophy of cognitive science. I have been working on the conceptual changes and variations in science, the epistemology of collaborative research, a cognitive reinterpretation of Kuhn's philosophy of science,  and some of the philosophical problems raised by the rapid development of artificial intelligence.
