The Hockeyclub Kassel, abbreviated HCK, is a field hockey and lacrosse club with nearly 350 members in Kassel right in the middle of Germany. In hockey, we are fielding men’s and ladies’ teams as well as a veteran’s team and several youth teams. During summer season (April – October), we are playing on a new astro turf opened in December 2005, while we are playing a full indoor season from October to March. All teams are playing successfully on a regional level. The lacrosse section fields ladies’ and men’s teams and is currently building up youth teams. Lacrosse is played on a second astro turf. We have opened our new clubhouse in 2012.

Besides playing on competitive levels, the HCK is offering a variety of recreational activities. We are also staging various tournaments from season preparation to summer league.

The clubhouse and our pitches are located in the Giesewiesen sports centre near the Auestadion, while most of our indoor activities take place in the Königstorhalle near the Friedrich-Ebert-Straße in the city centre.

New players of every level and age are always welcome, especially our fun hockey section is open for beginners of all ages. Most parts of the day-to-day news on this site are in German, but please feel welcome to have a look at our training schedule or contact us at for any further information.
