American History 201

American History 201 will consist of the topics in history that range from Industrialization to World War II. Within these topics, we will discuss different cultures, economies, governments, geography, and rights and responsibilities. Through active learning, we will analyze and interpret United States history by making connections from the past to the present and by learning how these events have shaped our lives. The textbook that will be distributed is The American Vision: Modern Times .  Chapters 5 - 12 will be used most frequently when covering these topics.

World History 101

World History 101 will consist of the topics in history that include the Scientific Revolution, the Enlightenment, the French Revolution, Napoleon’s rule, and Industrialization. Within these topics, we will discuss different cultures, economies, governments, geography, and rights and responsibilities. Through active learning, we will analyze and interpret the history of the world by making connections from the past to the present and by learning how these events have shaped our lives. The textbook that will be distributed is World History: The Modern Era. Chapters 10 – 13 will be used most frequently when covering these topics.
