Hayward Arts Council Fall 2019

Galleria Hours are Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM

Show dates: October 4 to December 6, 2019
Reception: Friday, October 11, 5:30 to 7:30 PM at City Hall Rotunda

Drop off your art: Thursday, October 3, 2:00 to 6:00 PM
Or Friday, October 4, 9:30 to 10:30 AM, NO EXCEPTIONS

Pick up your art: Thursday, December 5, 3:00 to 6:00 PM
Or Friday, December 6, 9:30 to 10:00 AM, NO EXCEPTIONS


  1. You must RSVP your participation by clicking on the Entry Form link on this page no later than Friday, August 30, 2019.

  2. One piece of art per member.  If you would like your art to be considered for printed pieces to promote the show, please email a print quality image (300 dpi, no smaller than 6 inches on one side) to the HAC office no later than August 30.

  3. Two-dimensional paintings or photographs must be fitted with ‘D’ rings and wire for hanging. No artwork larger than 30 x 30 inches will be accepted. No nudity, religious, or political art. A limited number of pedestals are available for 3D art. Size should be no larger than 40 x 40 inches, and no more than 25 lbs. Please specify what you need in your Entry Form.

  4. Label each piece of art in front of the piece with title, media, artist's name, and price. Mark piece NFS if it is not for sale. For printable Receiving Slips, click on the link to the right. They will also be available at the drop off. 

  5. Drop off your artwork at the O'Lague Galleria, 777 B Street, in City Hall, Friday, October 4, 9:30 to 10:30 AM.

  6. Member pay:  Entry fee for members is $15. All payments must be made in advance through our PayPal link on this page. You need not have a PayPal account to pay, just a credit card. No art will be hung without a paid fee.

  7. Non-Member pay:  You must become a member of HAC to exhibit in this show. There is a discounted combined fee of $30 to both join HAC and be in this show. Click on the link on this page to join and pay your fee at the same time.

  8. An Artist’s Contract must be completed and signed at the time you drop off your art. For your convenience, you can download the form using the link on this page, fill it out in advance, and bring it with you at drop off. There will be forms and Receiving Slips available at the drop off.
