Drop off your art: Friday, October 4, 8:30 to 10:00 AM, NO EXCEPTIONS
Pick up your art: Friday, December 6, 8:30 to 11:00 AM, NO EXCEPTIONS


1. You must RSVP by clicking on the Entry Form link on this page and submitting it no later than July 19, 2019. Payment must also be received by this date. You must be a member of the City of Hayward Staff to participate in this show. Artists are expected to bring finger food for the reception. More details in the Artist Contract. 

2. One piece of art per person.  If you would like your art to be considered for printed pieces to promote the show, please email a print quality image (300 dpi, no smaller than 6x6 inches) to no later than July 19, 2019.

3. Two-dimensional paintings or photographs must be fitted with ‘D’ rings and wire for hanging. No artwork larger than 30 x 30 inches will be accepted. No exceptions. No nudity or political art.

4. Three-dimensional work will be accepted on a first come, first served basis. Some pedestals will be available. Work can be no larger than 36 inches, and up to 25 pounds. 

5. Label each piece of art in front of the piece with title, media, artist's name, email address, phone number and price. Mark piece NFS if it is not for sale. For printable Receiving Slips, click on the link to the right. They will also be available at the drop off. 

6. Entry fee is $15. Pay by check in advance to Hayward Arts Council, P.O. Box 126, Hayward, CA 94541, or use the "Pay fee online" link on the top right of this page to use PayPal online. You need not have a PayPal account to pay, just a credit card. No art will be hung without a paid fee. Fees must be received by July 19, 2019 to secure your spot. 

7. An Artist’s Contract must be completed and signed at the time you drop off your art. For your convenience, you can download the form using the link on this page, fill it out in advance, and bring it with you at drop off. There will be forms and Receiving Slips available at the drop off.

8. Sales HAC will 
retain a 20% commission on all sales made during or 
because of the exhibition. See the Artist's Contract for more details about taxes and payments.

9. Artist Sheet  If you would like to have a one-page biography for the Galleria Binder, please bring it to the Galleria when you drop off your art.
