Head Coach Matt Gutteridge

I have been coaching cross country and track for the last 8 years here at Harland High School.  I graduated from Grand Blanc High School in 1999 where I participated in both sports.  I then went to The University of Tennessee to pursue a degree in Education.  I have been teaching 4th grade at Creekside Elementary since the fall of 2004.  I am committed to the growth of students athletes both as runners and as young men and women.  I am excited to combine the girls and boys programs and believe with hard word we can achieve all the goals we set for ourselves.

Assistant Coach Gary Streight

I graduated from Michigan Technological University with a BS in Civil Engineering.  I am married and have 3 young children who attend Village Elementary in Hartland.  I have been an assistant Track coach for 4 years and an assistant Cross Country coach for 3 years.   My father was a track and cross country coach for over 20 years and  I have been involved with track and cross country since I could walk.  I ran my first competitive race when I was 9 years old.  I continue to have a passion for running and enjoy helping others develop that passion while striving to make Hartland Cross Country the best program it can possibly be.

Assistant Coach Sam Kramer

I am married and have two boys. My oldest son Jeremy has run for Hartland the past two years. My youngest son Noah will join him next XC season and currently runs for the middle school. Our family has revolved around sports for many years.  I have had a passion for playing and teaching sports all my life. This passion is what led me to pursue a degree in Physical Education.  I received my Physical Education degree from the University of Arizona. I have coached soccer, cross country and track at a variety of different levels.  This past year I assisted in coaching cross country for Hartland.  I look forwarded to supporting coach Gutteridge in his efforts and helping the team achieve success.
