You've probably arrived here from the link I provided on the YorksGen, Harrogate, GenBrit, West Riding and Yorkshire lists.

This site is not intended to be "pretty"  -  It's just a quick way to get the 164,030 names to you and on display.

The lists of names I am providing are from my main Harrogate Database which is a daily ongoing project.

There is also a considerable amount (over 10,000 pages) of other Harrogate related material on my main web site www.harrogatepeopleandplaces.info

Most of the Data has been extracted from Harrogate newspapers and Property Deeds and is in the form of  :

Jacqueline Aaron 09/2007

Eliza Frances Aarons 3/1920d

- where the date shows the Month and Year of publication. The suffix d shows that the data is extracted from a Property Deed.

Some of the Data is from The Times and other National and Local newspapers, The London Gazette and books/pamphlets and Harrogate paper ephemera from my personal library.

I've now added 2,990 references to photographs (and other snippets) in the 1903, 1914, 1928, 1931, 1932, 1934, 1935, 1936, 1937, and 1938 Ackrill's Annual.  These are shown in the form of  :

    W N Bagshaw 1938-011

Other abbreviations used in the date column can be found here.

Contact me on   tony.teecee@gmail.com   with your request for the item and I will send you the extract or photograph.

Any corrections and additions are welcomed .... And if you would care to share any of your Harrogate information/material with me for inclusion in the Harrogate Database, then that would be greatly appreciated.
