Fourteen players, including a few new and returning members as well as guests, contested the 2018 lightning tournament (ten seconds a move). Despite one of the strongest fields I can remember Jonathan Round successfully defended his title winning all five games. Brian Coop was second with 4/5 and Mate Ther third on 3 1/2.
