1. Address shortages of STEM workers in Appalachia by providing educators professional development in STEM concepts, skills and applications.
2. Provide students Grades 7-11 the opportunities to build skills and knowledge needed to advance their STEM career pathway through internships and job shadow opportunities.
3. Provide students the opportunity to work with industry professionals to better understand various STEM discipilines.
4. Provide students and teachers with practical knowledge of engineering concepts and STEM career choices.
