All persons are reminded that
the grounds are sacredly devoted to the internment of the dead,
and that the provisions and penalties of the law will be strictly enforced
in all cases of any actions unbecoming to such a place.
Like every cemetery of its age, the grounds of Harrisburg Cemetery may be uneven or have hidden holes or voids. Also beware of the monuments on our grounds, some may be unstable or collapse if disturbed.
The Harrisburg Cemetery Association prohibits
any type of chalking, rubbing, or cleaning of monuments, or the lifting or moving of any monument, stone or adornment on our grounds. Not only could the item be damaged, copperhead snakes tend to nest in them.
Photography is not allowed without permission.
H.C.A. does not allow any images of the cemetery, buildings, or monuments to be published, sold or used in websites, video or print media without prior permission of the cemetery association board.
Children under the age of 18 are not permitted on the grounds without parent
Illegal, prohibited, or inappropriate behavior will not be tolerated.
