plan for student presentation

Students will form approximately 10 groups to survey and talk about aspects and types of academic communication.

Possible topics to cover include:
- Email request and response
- Regular talk (e.g., 30 min presentation of a research project)
- Long talk (e.g., 60 min or longer presentation of a topic)
- Short oral communication (e.g., 30 second elevator speech)
- Poster presentation
- Socialization
- Paper writing
- Report writing
- Interview
