My research focuses on examining incentive distortions. The areas I examine include credit rating agencies, banks and non-bank financial institutions, institutional investors and analysts, corporate debt, and household debt. I'm currently an associate professor of finance at the School of Management, University of Texas at Dallas. I received my Doctor of Philosophy in Business Administration from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, and my Master of Science in Financial Economics from Oxford University.
