Dr. Han Shuguo
was born in Shandong, China (Hometown of Confucius).  He is currently with the Data Mining Department of Institute for Infocomm Research (I2R), A*STAR, Singapore. He received his Bachelors degree (with honors) and Ph.D. degree from School of Computer Engineering, Nanyang Technological University, Singapore, in year 2006 and year 2010 respectively. His research interests include privacy security issues in practical issues, such as privacy-preserving data mining/publishing/sharing, differential privacy, database security and cryptography technologies. He has published various top data mining conference/journal papers, including
IEEE TKDE, ACM SIGKDD, SIAM SDM, IEEE ICDE, etc. He is also the  winner of PAKDD'12 data mining competition open category (consumer segment).
