AUTO-BIOGRAPHICAL SKETCH
 
Harp:
 
When I was twelve, I began taking private harp lessons with Nancy Glick. I was also part of Jan Bishop's harp Ensemble which performed before the Lima Symphony Orchestra, and many other public performances, I was alos a guest harpist with the Lima Symphony Orchestra for their 2001 New Year's Eve performance. I was awarded a music scholarship to Crown College after competing in the Morraine Heights Baptist Church's Teen Talent Contest, where I won first places in piano, instrumental (harp), and vocal performance. While at Crown, I studied under Dr. Eugene Yingling. I taught private harp lessons at Crown College as an adjunct professor.  I have played my harp in hundreds of public performances, which include weddings, church services, background music, bereavements, nursing homes, and holiday festivities.
 
Piano:
 
I began taking piano lessons under Linda Rinderknecht when I was six. I was a regular participant in the Ohio Federation of Music Clubs Competition held annually at Heidelberg University, and won 2nd place in their statewide piano competition in 1999. I attended the OFMC competition at Heidelberg University where I was one of only a few students in Ohio to receive a 75-point cup for 11 consecutive yeras of superior ratings. I worked as the accompanist for the Crown College Choir, and taught piano at Crown College as an adjunct professor. I have played piano in hundreds of public performances, which include weddings, church services, background music, bereavements, nursing homes, and holiday festivities. I have also been teaching private piano lessons for 11 years.
 
Voice:
 
At the age of twelve, I began taking voice lessons from Linda Rinderknecht. Under the direction of Dr.Lyle Anderson, I praticipated in Cedarville University's Music Showcase 2001. In 2002, I participated in the OMEA (Ohio Music Education Association) All State Choir.  I went on to further study voice under the tutelage of Dr. Earl Holloway and Professor Teresa Clark.  I was a frequent soloist with the Temple Baptist Church in Knoxville, TN and the Crown College Choir. I have sung in hundreds of public performances, which include weddings, church services, background music, bereavements, nursing homes, and holiday festivities.
