We still have committees that need chairpersons, committees that need people and we will need approximately 50 volunteers to chaperone, work in the deli, game room and casino, the night of the party.  Below is a list of our committee needs.

Our next planning meeting will be March 23rd at 6:00pm at the CBRC in the conference room.  You do not need to be a member of the CBRC to attend.  Please try to make it.  This is a huge undertaking and we need all the help we can get.

                                                                   Hanford High 2016 Senior Party Committees

Planning Committee Chairpersons:  Diana Knoll and Melissa Blacketer
     Organize and schedule meetings, coordinate with HHS off staff to send automated phone messages to all senior parents.  Coordinate with counselor and/or senior class advisor on scholarship ticket needs.  Work with Treasurers to establish budget.

Treasurers:   Leanna Nighswonger and Monaca Nelson
     Help establish budget, work with co-chair to select insurance company, handle deposits and pay bills.  Provide reports at monthly meetings.

Secretary:  Ann Waring
     Take minutes of meetings, send out email reminders of meetings, handle general correspondence.

Casino:  Chairpersons are Jhivaun Freeman-Pollard and Nicole Schumacher Committee members needed
     Ensure casino equipment and gambling licenses are arranged.  Organize pick-up, set-up and clean-up of equipment.  Work with prize committee for casino prizes.  Oversee casino volunteers night of party.

Food:  Chairpersons are Trish Fraga and Melissa Vandertop Committee members needed!
     Plan menu, obtain donations and purchase needed supplies, coordinate set up, serving, clean up and general supervision of deli area.

Prizes and Donations: Chairpersons are Becky Andersen and Megan Sutey  Committee members desperately needed!
     Solicit prizes and donations for raffles and to support activities for the party.  Purchase prizes and coordinate storage of prizes.  Coordinate drawings during the party.  Keep records of contributors and publish Thank You ad in the Herald.

Fundraising:  Committee Chair needed
     Develop and coordinate fundraisers to cover the cost of the party.  Such as hanging baskets, Famous Daves, Kettle Korn, Barnes and Noble, and any other fundraising opportunities that may be available.

Ticket Sales: 
     Plan ticket sale dates and times, oversee sales and track attendance.  Determine ticket prices and when to increase ticket prices.

Entertainment and Games:  Committee Chair needed and committee members!
     Book entertainment, i.e., hypnotist, dj, etc.  Determine needs for entertainment such as space and equipment.  Determine games to be played in game room and coordinate items needed, procurement and set up of games.  Reserve photo booth and photographer.

Communications and Public Relations:  Committee Chair needed!
     Advertise meetings, ticket sales, fundraisers in school publications.  Maintain facebook page and website.  Work with committee chairs to update website

Volunteer coordinator:  Michelle Fickle Volunteers needed!
     Coordinate volunteers to chaperone the party.  Teresa will let us know how many people we need in each place.  Set up and manage Volunteer Spot or Sign up Genius to coordinate volunteers.

Photographer needed as well as roaming photographers.
