Open Day: Aldinga and Sellicks Spinners, Knitters, Weavers and Felters Group: NEW EVENT! From Fleece to Fashion. Saturday August 6, at Aldinga Institute, Old Coach Rd, Aldinga, 10-3. Demonstrations, sales of handcrafted goods, refreshments and light lunches. All welcome. Information sheet can be downloaded below.

Adelaide Sewing Stitching and Hand Craft Show: Adelaide Showground, Wayville, July 15-17, 2016. Look for the Handspinners and Weavers Guild's site!
Fleece & Fibre Fair: Saturday 13th August, 10am - 3pm at the Soldiers' Memorial Hall, Mount Pleasant. This event is organised by the South Australian Coloured Sheep Owners' Society. Free admission. Spinning & Weaving demonstrations, woollen crafts, books, wool yarns, coloured fleece (sheep and alpaca). Refreshments include homemade soup, cake and devonshire teas. Download the flyer below.
A Stitch In Time: Morgan Heritage Museum: Exhibition of antique needle crafts; various groups will be there for some of the days - have a chat with them! 29 October - 19 November.

Grampians Texture: 18-23 March, 2017 at Halls Gap in the Grampians, Victoria. Includes 2 & 4 day workshops as well as 6 day masterclasses. Some 2 day workshops are: Great Weaves on 4 Shafts (with Elizabeth Calnan), Nuno Collage Wrap (with Jean Gauger), Sample Techniques using Needlefelt and Silk Fabric (with Catherine O'Leary), Knitted Wired (with Adrienne Sloane).
