Stitches and Craft Fair: Adelaide, May 7-9th, 2015. The Guild will have a display of tapestries woven by Guild members at the Fair. Drop in and take a look at the fantastic work.

Open Day: Adelaide Hills Spinners and Weavers Guild. May 30, 2015. Free entry, raffle, displays, demonstrations and sales of quality fleece, handspun yarns, and other crafts (including knitted, woven or felted garments). Fleece & Fibre Fair: South Australian Coloured Sheep Owners' Society's annual Fair. Saturday August 8, 10-4 at the Soldiers' Memorial Hall, Mt Pleasant. FREE ADMISSION. Spinning & Weaving demonstrations, woollen crafts, books, wool yarns, coloured fleece, sheep & alpaca. Refreshments (Homemade soup, Cake, Devonshire Teas).
Scarf Exchange 2015: The Handweavers, Spinners and Dyers Guild of WA, Inc. are the organisers of the 2015 Scarf Exchange. All are invited to participate - theme this year is Year of the Sheep / Goat. Send 150 grams of clean fibre and an entry form to them by March 27th. You will receive a package in return by the end of April which you craft (using spinning, felting, weaving, knitting, crocheting, or a combination) into a scarf, shawl, beanie, hat or bag and return to the organisers by 28 August. An exhibition of completed articles at the Peppermint Grove Library (1 Leake St, Peppermint Grove WA 6011) will be held 11-13 Sept. All welcome to view the creations. Then completed items will be returned to the person providing the original fibre packet. Cost to participate: $AUD18 (Australian participants), $AUD26 (New Zealanders), $AUD31 (USA participants) and enquire for other overseas participants.
