Monthly Skills Demonstrations - starts at Guild meetings in December 2017 and Dye Plant of the Month displays starts at Guild meetings in February 2018. Schedules are  available for downloading below.

At Nature's Pace: an exhibition of contemporary woven basketry and fibre art: 17 Feb - 1 March, 2018 - an exhibition by Basketry SA that is part of the Fringe Festival, held at Urrbrae House. The event will also include a Trading Table with other baskets for sale.

Other Fibre Events:

Sturt Summer School 2018: is held at Mittagong, NSW. Workshops include a number of weaving ones. Full details on their website:http://www.sturt.nsw.edu.au/education/summer-school.

Scarf Festival: Australian Wool Museum, Geelong, Victoria. Theme for 2018: Living on the Land. Entries open 1 Feb 2018. Visit the Museum's website (http://www.geelongaustralia.com.au/scarffestival/article/item/8d0777076180357.aspx) for more information.

AuNZ Tapestry Challenge: The subject for 2018 is Growth. Weavers from Australia and New Zealand are encouraged to enter a hand woven tapestry (a maximum size of 20x20cm, made during 2017/2018, of their own design in any style from abstract to realistic) to illustrate this subject. This challenge is open to weavers at all levels, from beginner to professional. Completed tapestries are due by 28 Feb 2018 and tapestries will be exhibited in Australia and New Zealand. Grampians Texture: Sat 17 - Thurs 22nd March 2018, 2 and 4 day workshops and 6 day masterclasses offered.  Early Bird payments due by 1 Dec 2017. 2 day Workshops, Sat 17th March - Sun 18th March, include Butterfly Felted Top with Maude Bath (a Guild Member), Indigo Dyeing and Shibori, Print to Felt, Fashionable Felted Dresses, Exploring Brioche Knitting, and Desert Bush Dyeing.
4 Day workshops, Mon 19th - Thurs 22 Mar, include: Notan Felted Jacket with Maude Bath, Mastery of skills for Felt Garment Making, Plant Dyeing and Screen Printing, Weave To Felt, Fashion Design for Nuno-Felted Coats, Ground : Found : Bound (Bush dyeing with Nargoodah bush dyers of the Kimberley), and Techniques to Develop Colour Knitting Skills. 
6 Day Master Classes, Sat 17 - Thurs 22 Mar include: Wearable Art: Felt Couture and Mosaic Felted Clothing
