Bag Ladies: exhibition of handmade felt items (mainly all kinds of bags but other felt items as well) by Helen Vonow and Sandra Tredwell. NOW ON - in the Guild Hall. Enter via the Little Glory Gallery on Wed & Sat 11-3 and Sun 1-4.
Garage Sale Trail: Craft and more. The Handspinners and Weavers Guild is joining with the Embroiderers Guild and the Lace Guild to participate in the Garage Sale Trail on October 24th only, from 10-4. We are all in a similar area of the Adelaide suburbs, so visit us all. You never know what you'll find of interest - from de-stashed goods and books to plants and food!

Equipment Sale Day: Adelaide Hills Handspinners and Weavers Guild are holding their annual Equipment Sale Day (free entry) on Nov 19, at Peace Memorial Hall, Littlehampton, from 10-3. In addition to selling equipment they will also have fleece, yarns, books, buttons for sale, and hold demonstrations. Refreshments available (gold coin donation). Scarf Exchange 2015: The theme this year is Year of the Sheep / Goat. Return completed item to the organisers by 28 August. An exhibition of completed articles will be at the Peppermint Grove Library (1 Leake St, Peppermint Grove WA 6011) on 11-13 Sept. All welcome to view the creations. spinweavewa.org.

2015 Mini Maker Faire: will be held on Sunday Nov 1, at Tonsley (Old Mitsubishi site).

Grampians Texture 2016: 5-10 March 2016. Includes 2 and 4 day workshops on a range of textile topics, including plant dyeing and shibori, knitting, felting, and braided rag rugs. 6 day master classes on Making Places and Making Spaces (with Sandy Webster) and Design: Finding the Missing Links (with Celia Player).
