APS0CECAT - BARCELONA

First experimental workshop of the project conceived by Guido Detttoni for tactile shapes to become the empathetic approach of those who ear and see to the deafblindness condition.

Primer taller experimental del proyecto concebido por Guido Dettoni para que las formas táctiles sean el acercamiento empático a la condición de sordoceguera por parte de de los que ven y oyen.

During TSBVI 2013 Symposium on Deafblindness on February 21, 2013 at their school in Austin, a HANDSMATTER Experience took place with deafblind students and their interveners and teachers.

Guido Dettoni has conceived and developed the HANDSMATTER process in which hands communicate and express through and with malleable matter.

8 HANDS <blindfolded> 1 shape

This 8 hands Handsmatter experience took place unexpectedly during the HANDMATTER workshop at the TSBVI symposium aimed to experience the interaction of 4 hands only.

It has been led and interpreted by Guido Dettoni: the digitalised 2D images of the resulting shape depict the essence of the experience itself.
