Nerikomi/Nerikome Complex Pattern Tube Beads |
Nerikomi also spelled Nerikome, is a Japanese name given to traditional pottery where colored clay is formed into patterns and then formed into pottery. I have chosen to adopt this name for the type of beads I make since it describes their construction. These tube beads are made from multicolored porcelain clays formed into complex patterns and then cut into bead shapes. they are of consistent diameter but vary somewhat in length. RWD |
