Events include anonymous workshops, haiku walks, discussions, presentations, slideshows, a favorite haiku session, show and tell, haiku and renku writing time, and more! Our featured guest is Emiko Miyashita.


Friday, October 10, 2008


1:00 p.m.               For early-arrivers, meet at Reeser House to carpool for a walk at nearby Miami Beach

                              (leaving for the beach by 1:30 p.m.)

4:00 p.m.               Check in starts at Reeser House

                              (after check-in, socialize at Reeser House or explore the lagoon, antique shop, dock, and beachfront)

6:30 p.m.               Dinner at the dining hall (all meals here)

7:30 p.m.               Welcome, introductions, rounds of haiku reading, and tan-renga writing exercise, led by Michael Dylan Welch
