The Evolutionary Theory Lab @ Tel-Aviv University

The Evolutionary Theory lab investigates open questions in the theory of evolution, including the evolution and maintenance of sex, the evolution of the mutation rate, the evolution of drug-resistance, and the co-evolution of flowers and pollinators.

We focus on the evolution of mechanisms that generate variation, with emphasis on the relationship between stress and genetic variation, and its effects on adaptation, diversity and epidemiology

We use a diverse array of mathematical modeling approaches and computational methods, collaborate with experimental biologists, and sometimes perform direct experiments and field observations.
