An Employment Skills Curriculum
Use this website to explore the Habits of Work curriculum and quickly connect to the many linked web resources.

Habits of Work is a soft skills curriculum you can use by itself or with extended learning opportunities (ELOs),  internships and other work-related learning experiences. It teaches universal workplace habits that can benefit any person in any kind of career.  Developed with a focus on students with disabilities, it can be a valuable resource for a student's Individual Education Plan (IEP) transition plan.  It's a pick-and-choose curriculum for use:
  • with a class or with an individual
  • face-to-face, or via email, or other electronic connection
Habits of Work started as a printed curriculum, and ended up so heavily linked to the Internet that we created this website as an additional means to review the units and plan your lessons. If you find a non-working link, please let us know so we can fix it!

Downloading Habits of Work
The curriculum is available in PDF form from this site. You can print an entire part or single units. Look for the blue booklet icon to view, print or download the complete material for that part of the curriculum, or a text link, "download PDF  of a this unit," to do the same with a single unit.
