Our Recent Meeting:
Was held at the beautiful Embassy of Luxembourg on Friday, October 25, 2013, with the ambassador of Luxembourg, Jean-Louis Wolzfeld, delivering some opening remarks on the history of wine making in Luxembourg, its wine region and the types of wines.

It proved to be an exciting opportunity to enjoy the wines of the “other Mosel,” the Moselle River in the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg. This tasting promised a lot and delivered a lot, with more than twice as many wines as our previous tasting at the embassy in March of 2011.

The wines comprised:  Vendange Tardive (late harvest), Vin Moelleux (mellow), Vin de Glace (ice), and Vin de Paille (straw wine).

Words fail us in our appreciation to the gracious generosity of the Embassy in making its facilities and some wines available for our event.
