Led a cross-product pathfinding project to enhance holistic lithography portfolio by using diffraction based overlay product to characterize and extend roadmap for lithography scanner alignment sensor to meet future node overlay requirements.
Senior Lead Application Engineer II, Applied Materials Inc., Beaverton, OR, USA
Jan 2015 – Jan 2018
Leading a marketing channel with customer’s upper management (high visibility of the customer technology and competitors) to explore and enable the market potential of AMAT’s future products by showing clear success criteria on customer’s high value problems.
Owned and won the EUV project (EUV optical wafer inspection as a proxy for mask inspection) from the competitor by implementing new product’s sensitivity enhancing features and working with the cross functional teams to develop a new image processing algorithm that created a unique and superior solution for the customer. Resulted in customer buying additional tools (key priority technology for AMAT).
Created a positive incentive for a new product by showcasing it on the most challenging, yield-limiting layer for the customer, which opened the channel for sustained future engagement. Implementation involved a very non-conventional approach.
Senior Application Engineer, Applied Materials Inc., India, Taiwan, Germany and S. Korea Oct 2012 – Dec 2014
