Formed in 1973, Gunfighter Squadron and Training Ship TopGun are located at MCAS Miramar in Southern California and serves a portion of San Diego County, offering students age 11-17 and aviation-oriented experience in the Naval Sea Cadet Corps (NSCC) and Navy League Cadet Corps (NLCC).
