About: Elizabeth M. Guerriero, Ph.D. (Penn State University) completed her B.M. in violin performance at the Hartt School of Music (Suzuki Books 1-4) and M.M. in violin performance and Suzuki pedagogy (Suzuki Books 1-9 and Practicum) from the Lamont School of Music at the University of Denver. Dr. Guerriero served as applied strings and chamber strings instructor at Montgomery County Comunity College in Blue Bell, PA for 5 years. She is also adjunct assistant professor of applied violin and viola at Rider University. She has taught applied violin at the University of Denver and Penn State University. Dr. Guerriero served as assistant director of the New Jersey Suzuki Workshop, director of the Keep It Going Summer Strings Camp, and presents at the SAA, ASTA, PMEA, and MENC conferences regularly. Currently, she is the Director of Education for the Harmony Program in New York City, where she oversees 60 teaching artists and partnerships with the Juilliard School, New York Philharmonic, and West Point Band. Regarding teaching, Ms. Beth is a high energy teacher who enjoys students of all ages and levels.
