Absentee Voting & FWAB 100 and 45 Day Notices

 
Applications for Absentee Ballots for 2018 Elections may be accepted starting on January 1, 2018.
 
You must request separately for each election in 2018, that you want to vote absentee.

NOTE: Automatic absentee applications will not be sent to all voters in odd numbered years.

*Special Office Hours for In-Person Absentee Voting*

Weeks 1, 2, & 3, Tuesday, April 10, 2018 through Friday, April 27, 2018, Monday - Friday 8 A.M. to 5 P.M.

Week 4: Monday, April 30, 2018 through Sunday, May 6, 2018, Monday- Friday 8 A.M. to 7 P.M., 
                                                                                                              Saturday 8 A.M. to 4 P.M., Sunday 1 P.M. to 5 P.M.

Election Week: Monday, May 7, 2018,  8 A.M to 2 P.M. (Deadline for In-Person Absentee Voting is Monday, May 7, 2018 at 2 P.M.)  
 

Absentee Voting start dates for the May 8, 2018 Primary Election:

UOCAVA (Military and Overseas) absentee voting begins: Saturday, March 24, 2018
 
Non-UOCAVA absentee voting (by mail or in-person) begins: Tuesday, April 10, 2018

No one may pick up a ballot for another voter. Only the voter may receive their own ballot.
 
  
Dead-line to receive the application for an Absentee Ballot to be mailed to the voter.
Application must be received at the Board of Elections no later than 12:00 NOON Saturday, May 5, 2018.
 
If mailing, you should allow enough time (minimum 5-7 days) for the postal service to deliver your application to our office, and for our office to send your ballot to you. 
 
By law, voted Absentee Ballots that you return to us by mail must be postmarked by Monday, May 7, 2018 to be counted for the May 8, 2018  Primary Election). 
 
Your voted Absentee Ballot may be hand carried in to our office on Election Day, Tuesday, May 8, 2018 by 7:30 P.M.
