6th GTTI Thematic Meeting on Multimedia Signal Processing

Alleghe (BL), January 24-26, 2016

The GTTI Thematic Meeting on Multimedia Signal Processing gathers researchers and professionals focused on multimedia signal processing and its applications. It provides a venue for people to interact and exchange ideas about state-of-the-art scientific achievements, as well as to promote initiatives and encourage the development of the signal processing community.
GTTI MMSP 2016 is supported by the IEEE Signal Processing Society - Italian Chapter and by the  National Telecommunications and Information Technologies Group (GTTI). One of the objectives of the meeting is to encourage the participation of young researchers, in particular with the organization of a poster and demo session, with a prize for the best demo (sponsored by GTTI). The IEEE SPS Italian Chapter sponsors the participation of an SPS international distinguished lecturer, with a plenary Session about state-of-the-art topics in Multimedia Signal Processing.
The organizers of the event decided not to ask for a participation fee (thanks also to a financial support from the GTTI). Lunches and dinners will be paid directly by the attendees.

In 2016, the sixth thematic meeting will be organized by the University of Padova in Alleghe (BL) on January, 24-26, 2016. Prospective participants to the event are expected to register and take care of their own accommodation. Event registration will open in November 2015.
