GEA Update - March 2020

Dear Colleagues:

Please keep Thursday, June 4th 2020 open for our annual GEA Meeting.  The meeting will begin promptly at 3:00 PM in the Penn Brook Library and should not be more than 45 minutes.  At our annual meeting, we will update membership on any current issues, upcoming contract negotiations, any by-law changes and outline the upcoming GEA elections.  If you have any interest in running for a GEA position, please let me know so that your name can be placed on the ballot.  GEA positions are:  building representatives, Secretary, Treasurer, Vice President and President.  All positions are year long positions.  GEA elections will occur on Thursday, June 11th.  Once again, we will be voting electronically.  Please make sure your private email address is updated.  If you have any questions, please see Secretary Paul Swaim.  

The GEA E-Board is currently working on many different issues.  As always, we ask that you please bring any issues forward to your building representatives, as soon as possible.  Both Mike and I will be staying around after staff meetings if members would like to talk to us directly about an issue.  We look forward to seeing you on June 4th.
