Volunteers are critical to our success as a chapter!

Become a Project Linus volunteer

Become a blanketeer! Blankets can be quilted, crocheted, knitted, or made from a single layer of fleece, using a variety of techniques to create a finished edge. Look through our web pages for ideas and patterns.

Participate in Club Linus (click here for schedule) to help us collect blankets from our drop-off locations, inspect, label and package blankets for distribution, and deliver blankets to hospitals and social service agencies.

Hold your own blanket-making day! Contact us for ideas about how to make this work.

Donate an item on our Wish List

We appreciate the following:

  • Gift cards (We can especially use cards from Amazon.com, Jo-Ann Fabrics, Office Max, and Staples to purchase essential supplies.)
  • Postage stamps
  • Monetary donations are appreciated. Checks can be sent to Project Linus GTCA, c/o Gail Baev, P.O. Box 25674, St. Paul, MN 55125-0674. Or you can donate online at Project Linus. Be sure to specify that your donation is for the Greater Twin Cities Area, MN Chapter.

Donate blanket-making supplies

Donations of 100% cotton fabric (quilt quality), fleece, yarn, thread, or other blanket-making supplies and tools are accepted at the Saturday Club Linus meetings (see here for schedule). Does your employer or organization have a grant program or fundraising activity for non-profit organizations?

Project Linus is a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization. A Gift In Kind form will be supplied on request.
