I am a class teacher and the Literacy Co-ordinator at Pedmore CofE PrimarySchool.  I am passionate about children's learning and have a particular interest in:  literacy (including digital literacy), global citizenship, the environment, philosophy for children and enquiry/project based learning.

In September, I received the Learning Technologist of the Year 2012 Award.  I became a Google Certified Teacher in April 2012.  In 2010 I received the Microsoft Innovative Teacher Award for Towards a Community of Enquiry a project which accelerated children's learning through introducing an enquiry/project based learning approach and which developed our community links.  This was also recognised through the RM Success Award.
