Lessons are outcomes based and extremely hands-on; learners get to experience hands on a range of gardening techniques which really work and keep your garden eco friendly. All principles taught are sustainable and will improve the environment, like feeding the soil organically. This reduces pests and increases the soils condition, which will result in healthier more nutritious plants.

Gardener training with a difference
This is a one hour coaching session which involves your garden and what needs to be done in it, we improve its performance and leave you with someone who knows how to care for your plants, with each visit you will see the long lasting improvements.


Learners at a soil preparation workshop
Beginners course - Grow Your Own Food
This five-week course spread over ten weeks; to allow the learners time to experience the growing vegetables and gives them an opportunity to ask questions. It takes them from preparing the ground to harvesting and then the facilitator of the course will make a few house calls within the first few months to coach the learner on anything that is obvious they did not understand, and to share additional tips and recommendation.

In this workshop you will learn about the various ingredients that you need when preparing the ground and pots for planting, you will learn how it is all used to improve the condition of the soil.

In this lesson, you will learn how to use complementary plants to improve growth performance and reduce pests and increase beneficial insects. Learn how to maximise your space by planting plants the right plants together. How to use planting partners and maximise your planting area is a full-day workshop that covers the following modules; conventional planting methods, which plants work better together, ways to maximise your planting area and companion planting methods.

Square foot planting method
