Pretty Mayise
Pretty started developing the Hlubuko farm 6 years ago and has managed to get a lot done over the years with respect to clearing the land of rubble and other dumped materials. Her team of volunteers come and go because they are not making enough from the vegetable sales to pay the workers a stipend. This is mainly because they can not get the ground healthy enough to support high density yields.

Pretty is the first farmer at Hlubuko farm that we will be helping to set up a proper farming system, with all the correct soil inputs and the training and assisted maintenance needed to up skill her to be able to afford to pay a unemployed person from the neighbouring Tinasoke community to come work on the farm with her in developing the farm further.
