Mens 5-a-side football: Meet on a Wednesday evening at the MUGA from 6.30-8pm.
Grittleton Golf Society: Meet on Sunday mornings at Castle Combe Golf Club with 4 main fundraising events per year.

Grittleton Golf Society began in 1985 when a number of regulars at The Neeld Arms saw the opportunity to play golf with like-minded individuals, principally to have fun both during and after the game, whilst generating events for villagers including their family and friends.

In recent years, the purpose of Grittleton Golf Society through four events per year has been to raise money to support junior golfers, both boys and girls, who would not otherwise have the opportunity to play at a golf club, through sponsored membership and coaching at The Manor House Golf Club. This programme sparked a wider-reaching junior coaching programme at that club, with many former ‘Grittleton Scholars’ giving adults a run for their money in competitions!

Membership of Grittleton Golf Society does not involve a subscription – more a shared philosophy of fun and socialising, usually ending up at a local pub afterwards! Guests are always welcome and we are keen as a group to meet and play with golfers from all local villages, to take our events to different courses and to try different formats.
