Gridbooks are the grid-lined notebooks that I had to buy for my Organic Chemistry classes in college. We were required to keep our lab experiment logs in them. I started writing poetry in the back of my lab gridbook.
Before long I had filled that gridbook and purchased another. I started using these books for all of my thoughts, journals, drawings, and writings. By the time I had fully changed my writing to documents on computers I had filled nearly 3o of these books.
When I took the step of putting my writings on-line it seemed obvious that I was continuing what I had started in those old gridbooks.
