Greywell Flyfishers Club
Chalkstream Fly Fishing on the River Whitewater in North East Hampshire,

including a beautiful spring fed lake that provides quality stillwater fishing, all year round.

The Greywell Flyfishers Club fish at the very top of the River Whitewater, a chalkstream that rises from numerous springs above and below Greywell Mill in North East Hampshire.

The fishery is located about 6 miles east of Basingstoke and just a few minutes drive from junction 5 of the M3. The river and the beautiful village of Greywell seem to be years away from the noise and rush of the motorway.

The river rises in and flows through Greywell Fen, which is designated as a Site of Special Scientific Interest. It offers an unusual and perhaps unique environment. It is almost always crystal clear and seems altogether bigger than much of the river downstream.

The fishing is mostly casting to seen fish. The clarity of the water makes fish sometimes easy to see, but less than easy to catch!
