Gerald J Rodgers
Gerald first joined the Choir as Assistant Pianist/Organist in September 1977 and retired from this position after 25 years in November 2002. Sponsored by the senior Choir, a Boys Choir was formed in September 1996 and Gerald was asked to act as its pianist, a position he held until recently when the Boys Choir was unfortunately suspended until further notice due to reduced membership Since January 2009 Gerald has played for the Wednesday practices and assists on Friday practices also. He is now taking part in Choir concerts by playing the organ as in his earlier appointment. Gerald completes 40 years service to the choir in 2017. Clive Miller Alex Lamb Alex is a Leicestershire-based pianist who had a keen musical ear from an early age. He first took piano lessons at the age of 7 and got his first accompanying job at the age of 16. He went on to complete a degree in Music at the Reid School of Music at the University of Edinburgh, taking piano lessons from Karin Schistek. Whilst studying here, he enjoyed performing with a variety of soloists and ensembles alike.
