8 MILES OF FIRST CLASS FLY FISHING IN NORTH EAST HAMPSHIRE ON THE RIVERS LODDON AND LYDE.

The Gresham Angling Society retains and controls the fishing rights on both banks of the Loddon and its tributary the Lyde from Longbridge at Sherfield on Loddon to our upstream limit just below Lower Mill at Old Basing, near Basingstoke.

The club has a total of 77 members who may fish on any three days per week. They enjoy fair bag limits and inexpensive guest tickets. Catch and release is encouraged and widely practiced. Our fisheries are managed primarily for wild trout in as natural a setting as possible. The trout season begins on 1st April and ends on the last day in September. We have been fishing the Loddon since 1956.
