California Green Transportation Collaborative Community Of Practice

Prepare students to meet the demands of the green transportation industry - and provide valuable career opportunities at the same time! Join with your colleagues in our Community of Practice to help develop hybrid/electric vehicle repair training programs.

The California Green Transportation Collaborative brings together key stakeholders in the hybrid/electric sector to ensure that colleges in California are prepared to train students in new green automotive technologies.
  • Community College automotive faculty
  • Automotive and green transportation industry stakeholders, and
  • Workforce leaders
Working together, our Collaborative plans to develop training for 300 individuals for jobs in hybrid/electric vehicle technology in 2011 and 2012.

Skyline College's Spring 2012--Automotive Entry Level Service Technician Training:  Entry-level certificate to get you the necessary instruction to begin a career in the Automotive Industry in one semester, as well as, have the opportunity to enroll in additional courses in the high demand area of hybrid electric maintenance and repair.  Classes begin 8/20/2012-- for more information email or call:
