Mrs. Green is from Richmond, Virginia has a Bachelor's of Science in Geology and Environmental Science from James Madison University and is working on her Masters in Teaching at Virginia Commonwealth University. Prior to teaching, Mrs. Green worked as a geologist for over five years in Washington, DC and Richmond, Virginia.
Mrs. Green is currently a participant of the Virginia Advanced Study Strategies (VASS) grant program for Advanced Placement Environmental Science (APES) and the Virginia Initiative for Science Teaching & Achievement (VISTA) grant program for science educators.
When she's not grading papers, Mrs. Green enjoys running, hanging out with her husband and two black labs Venus and Atlas, and watching marathons of Glee. Her favorite food is fried chicken.
