Green Things Farm is in its fifth year of production in 2015. We hope to enhance the health of the Ann Arbor community by providing fresh local produce and sustainably raised meat year round. When we purchased our farm, it was a bare conventionally used field. We are now a diverse Certified Organic family-run farm!

 You can access our goods through our summer or fall vegetable CSA (farm share program),  Kerrytown and St. Joseph Hospital Farmers Markets along with many local restaurants. 

We strive to ensure the sustainability of farming by only using organic pesticides and fertilizers, cover cropping, pasturing our animals, and planting native species as a part of our farm ecosystem. We love farming and cannot wait to get more seeds in the ground and produce on your plate!

St. Joseph Hospital hosts our farm stand in their lobby Wednesdays from 11am-1pm.

We help teach students of Thurston Elementary about farming in their school gardens and through farm field trips and farmer visits to the classroom. A portion of our CSA sales go towards restoring the Thurston Nature Center.

Local Restaurants such as the Jolly Pumpkin,  Grange Kitchen and Bar, Zingermans Deli, Inn Season Cafe, and more source vegetables from the farm on a regular basis.
