               Shelford river bank proposals

Refurbishing the riverbank at the bottom of the recreation ground is being considered by the Parish Council. Proposals include replacing the edging so people can get closer to the water and the addition of a 'dock like' feature' so canoes can be launched.

Woman hurt in Shelford crash
 
Fire, ambulance and police crews were called to Tunwells Lane at 8am on December 1 after a Mercedes Sprinter collided with a Vauxhall Corsa.

One woman was taken to Addenbrooke's with minor injuries. Tunwells Lane was also closed immediately following the crash.
