Black Forest Ham, thin sliced
Transfer 1/4 cup of the Apple Jelly to a separate jar and add one stem of rosemary and leave in fridge overnight. Crumble more rosemary into softened butter and refrigerate overnight as well. Use the jelly spread on both slices of bread, adding a good inch or so of ham and a thick pile of the Jarlsburg, grated. Close the sandwich tucking everything in as well as possible. Butter the top slice and turn that side down on the griddle. Butter the top slice and turn when browned. Lower the heat if it is browning to quickly for the cheese to melt and ham to heat.
