Scratchboard Workshop
Lincoln, NE
Learn the dramatic and beautiful technique of scratchboard! Scratch away inked clay to create texture and detail in a drawing of your choice. This class will cover the materials and tools used, along with a demonstration of the steps in preparing an illustration. Participants will learn methods of creating a wide range of textures, shading and coloring on scratchboard. Each student will sketch a prairie treasure, transfer the sketch to scratchboard, and work toward completing a small illustration.
