Fees Explained
Meet Commitments:
All Gymcats are expected to attend all HOME Gymcat meets when their level is competing.
Once a Gymcat is competing All-Around (all 4 events) they are expected to attend all AWAY League Gymcat meets when their level is competing.
All eligible Gymcats are expected to represent their team at both the District and the Regional Championships at the end of the YMCA season.
YMCA Nationals is an option for qualifying gymnasts and should be made as a family decision. Gymnasts will travel with a parent or other adult, Gymcats levels competing L2-9 and XG-D may qualify to compete. L8 and L9 are expected to attend. When we are hosting, ALL Gymcats are expected to compete.
YMCA Invitationals are an option for additonal meets, they are not required, addtional entry fees and registration by the announced deadline are required.
USAG meets are an option for addtional meets, that are not required. Gymcats Level 6-9 may chose to compete.
Gymcat Parent Association Fees (Due November 10):
Judges Fee -- All dual and regular season league meets will be covered by the $65 Judges Fees. **High School Varsity Gymnasts may pay $35 due to the abbreviated Gymcat meet schedule. Fees will be adjusted after confirming the gymnast is on a high school team. This fee will be invoiced to your YMCA account and can be paid online or by calling the Member Services desk.
Concessions Fee -- All families are asked to pay $25 at the start of the season. This fee is intended to assist with stocking the concessions stand for meets. In addition the fee covers the cost of feeding our judges and coaches during home meets.
Invitationals and Championship meets (YMCA):
All YMCA invationals and championship meets will have separate entry fees. Each meet will have a deadline for registration. These are HARD DEADLINES -- please be prompt with fees.
USAG:
These competitions are for the experienced gymnast. Please see Coach Jessie if your gymnast is interested.
**DO NOT PAY for anything until approved by Coach Jessie.
Your gymnast must be a registered USAG gymnast. Fee for this is $69 for returning athletes and $25 for new athletes.
There is an additional $50 coaches fee to cover extra travel costs related to USAG meets.
All meets have separate entry fees. These fees are payable online or by contacting the member service desk.
Entry deadlines are HARD DEADINES -- please be prompt with payments.
Refund Policy:
There are no refunds of any kind for meet entry fees. Please don't ask!
If your child is injured and will be out of the gym (totally) for over a month, and you are paying monthly, you may contact Susan Luce to have your APP suspended until your gymnast returns. This is your responsibility. No credit or refunds will be given if you fail to make arrangements in a timely manner.
If your Gymcat is competing for her high school and will not be attending ANY Gymcat practices you may contact Susan Luce by November 1 to suspend your APP for January and February. December's payment will not be suspended due to girls needing to compete in the Jingle Bell Invitational to get the required number of YMCA meets for championship qualifications.
