Greater Prescott Trails Planning
What is GPTP?
The Greater Prescott Trails Planning effort invites you to help develop a broadly supported, comprehensive trails plan for the Greater Prescott area.  Using a collaborative, “all hands, all lands” approach, this plan will include all uses and emphasize a safe and sustainable trail system.

Please join this open and collaborative process to design a trail system that...

  1. Is user friendly and accommodates multiple user interests and skill levels
  2. Guides land managers and leads to on-the-ground implementation of priority trail projects
  3. Improves connectivity, community access and enhances the socio-economic value of outdoor recreation
  4. Minimizes conflicts among trail enthusiasts and reduces the need for user-created trails
  5. Stays within the capacity of the community and agencies to maintain
  6. Minimizes impact to the resources and to adjacent residential areas

Who Can Participate?
ALL trail users, recreationists, adjacent landowners, organizations, local government, agencies and others interested in collaborative trails planning.
