Welcome to the Great Ayton Scottish Country Dance Club

Serving Teesside and North Yorkshire areas

We welcome new members of all ages and standards to our weekly dance classes. No previous experience is required, and you do not need a partner to be able to attend. If you have danced all your life, or never  tried it before, come along and give it a go. It is a great way to exercise, to have fun, and to meet new people. 

Dance Classes

Classes are held every Wednesday evening from 7:30 till 9:30 in the Women's Institute Hall in Great Ayton, TS9 5DL (EXCEPT for the second Wednesday in each month when they are in the Parochial Hall, Guisborough Road, Great Ayton TS9 6AA), 

From Wednesday 4 September 2024 until 18 June 2025 (except 18 Dec 2024, 25 Dec 2024, 1 Jan 2025).  

Dances include selections from the RSCDS (Royal Scottish Country Dance Society)  books, and also many new ones. New dancers will be helped with the steps.

Plus £4.00 weekly class fee
