Our Company

History, Legacy and Goals For the Future

In 1981, Larry Gray began work in the HVAC-R field under the Sheet Metal Labor Union in Colorado.
Quickly taking to advanced layout and design, Larry prided himself on Quality Craftsmanship and Unique Solutions to Complex Problems.

In 1984, after the union dissolved, Larry Gray started his own Heating and Air Conditioning company.
It all began out of his garage, with little more than a used pick-up truck and thrift store type writer.
The First Customer was met with a Hand Shake and the First Contract was signed over the Hood of a Pickup Truck.
That first customer is still using Gray's Heating & Air Conditioning and can be found in the Select Contractor Showcase.

That same spirit is alive today, Gray's Heating & Air Conditioning is proud to employ the same HVAC-R Service Technician since 1984 and is
a successful and growing family owned and operated HVAC-R contractor servicing Northern/Central Colorado.

Gray's Heating & Air Conditioning has specialized in Custom Residential New Construction projects and has been used exclusively by over 25 Front Range Custom Home Builders. Building solid and long lasting relationships with Contractors and their Home Buyers has been a great joy to Larry Gray throughout the years.

Starting in 2000, Larry Gray saw the need to expand his business horizons and grow in new HVAC-R areas.
Today, Gray's Heating & Air Conditioning is still 100% owned, operated and financed by Larry Gray and his son Levi Gray.
