Welcome to Grayhart Weimaraners....owned by Weimaraners since 1995.

My husband grew up with Weimaraners and when we wanted to add a second dog to our household to join our rescue lab, Daisy, there was no choice - it had to be a Weimaraner. Fortunately, we did the right thing and through the Weimaraner Club of America found a local Weim club who put us in touch with a reputable breeder.

Being familiar with the breed, not just their beauty, but their high energy level, intelligence, versatility and need for obedience training -or they will train you, we knew that Weimaraners were the perfect breed for us.
Our first Weimaraner, Freia, was acquired as a pet with the possibility of showing. Well, once we met other Weimaraner folks and were introduced to all the wonderful things we could do with our dog....let's just say we were hooked and the rest is history.  We are fortunate and thankful to have found wonderful mentors in the breed, whom have become dear friends.  We  feel it is important to continue this tradition and mentor and educate others to help protect our wonderful breed.

The AKC has also recognized our efforts and accepted us into their Breeder of Merit Program.  The Breeder of Merit program honors breeders' hard work that continues to produce dogs that are healthy, capable, and beautiful; and which serve as the backbone of the sport.

With my truly versatile dogs, I train and compete in AKC events including conformation, agility, obedience and hunt tests.  I have put over fifty AKC and WCA titles on my dogs, earning many top placements at all-breed agility and obedience trials.

Champion Trixie is our resident princess; beautiful, sweet and continues to compete in agility and obedience.   Trixie comes from championship lines that have produced Best in Show, Best of Breed and Futurity and Maturity winners, performance titles and most importantly, dogs with excellent health and temperaments.  She has produced multiple Best of Breed and group placing, multiple  futurity winning and placing, specialty major winning offspring as well as nine Champions to date and and Junior  and Senior Hunter get.  She has also produced many with advanced obedience and agility titles and tracking titles.

Champion Jam, Trixie's daughter from our first litter, is a star showing great potential and drive in multiple venues. She has multiple Best of Breed and Specialty Award of Merits. She competes in Masters level agility and earned all of her agility legs with top placements and also has her companion dog  obedience (CD) title.  Jam has shown terrific natural ability in the field earning four legs in a row to earn her Junior Hunter title, getting scores of 9 in pointing and trainability along the way and has one leg towards her Senior Hunter title.  Plus, having a very sweet and stable temperament, Jam, is a registered Pet Partners therapy dog. Jam has continued the Grayhart legacy, producing beautiful pups in that are showing potential in the show ring and many performance venues.

Champion Savi, our keeper from Trixie's last litter, has followed in the Grayhart tradition of versatility earning her Junior Hunter leg at nine months of age in four straight hunt tests with top scores.  A natural retriever, Savi easily completed her Senior Hunter.  Lovely Savi completed her AKC champion title from the Bred-By-Exhibitor class winning 5-pt and 3-pt majors along the way.She is also training for competition obedience and agility with titles in these venues. Savi's get are making their mark in multiple venues.

Additionally, our dogs, trained by Linda,  have appeared in print advertisements, books and nationally aired commercials.
